Non-TJCTC Online Learning
Several state agencies and other approved groups have online learning for justices of the peace.
Online learning from other approved groups may count for judicial education credit. In order to qualify for judicial education credit, TJCTC needs:
- Title and course description
- Certificate of completion

National Judicial College
The National Judicial College offers free webinars and online, faculty-led programs for a fee.
All National Judicial College programs are pre-approved for judicial education credit.

Justice Court Section - State Bar of Texas
The Justice Court Section of the State Bar of Texas sometimes offers webinars and other online events.

The Office of Court Administration
The Office of Court Administration offers several webinars on topics such as domestic violence and language access. Some of these courses may qualify for judicial education credit depending on their length and topic.

National Center for State Courts
The National Center for State Courts is an independent, nonprofit court improvement organization founded at the urging of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Warren E. Burger. He envisioned NCSC as a clearinghouse for research information and comparative data to support improvement in judicial administration in state courts.

Elected officials in some counties are required to take FEMA and Open Government training, which is listed below. The education below does not qualify for judicial education credit, but may be required by your county. Talk to your County HR or Auditor for more information.
