General Information
We look forward to seeing you in San Marcos on April 14 - 16, 2026. Please read below for hotel information, the conference agenda, and handouts.
Hotel Information
The conference will take place at Embassy Suites San Marcos, located at 1001 E. McCarty Ln., San Marcos, TX 78666.
TJCTC will cover standard self-parking at the hotel. If you choose to valet park, that cost will be your responsibility.
When you check in, the hotel will require a credit card for incidentals. This will place a temporary hold on your card, which will be released if no incidentals are charged. We recommend using a credit card rather than a debit card.

Registration
Registration will take place in the conference center.
TJCTC staff will be in the conference area to check you in for the conference.
Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. All guests arriving before 4:00 p.m. will be accommodated as guestrooms become available. Luggage storage can be arranged for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable, and for guests attending functions on departure day.

The Clerk Side of Civil Trials class and The Clerk Side of Criminal Trials class will have some significant overlap in the topics discussed, since certain issues related to trials are the same for both civil and criminal cases. Please take this into consideration if you were thinking about signing up for both classes. If you are already signed up for both and do not want to get some of the same information twice, then consider choosing a different class at one of those times.
