Registration opens Thursday, April 10th

Get ready for the 89th Legislative Session updates! Join us as we travel to six locations across Texas—plus virtual options—to break down the bills that will impact justice courts and constable offices.

🗓️ In-Person and Virtual Options Costs

  • Virtual Registration: $50
  • In-Person Registration: $75
  • Lodging Fee: $100 per night

📍 Who Should Attend

Justice of the Peace Updates: Open to judges, court personnel, and justice court staff

Civil Process Updates: Open to constables, deputies, and constable clerks. This course fulfills the TCOLE legislative update requirement.

💬 Why Has the Lodging Fee Increased?

Due to rising hotel costs, the lodging fee is now $100 per night. This fee remains well below the actual rate we pay—TJCTC continues to subsidize lodging to keep our conferences affordable. The lodging fee is payable to Texas State University and will be included on your invoice along with the registration fee.

Want to skip the lodging fee? You're welcome to room with another attendee and attend without incurring any lodging charges.

    • Monday, August 18th at the Omni Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, TX. 

      If you opt to stay at the hotel, a room will be reserved for Sunday, August 17th.
